Know Where You Stand Before the Interview
Airaw's Career Readiness Score is role-specific and helps students understand strengths, gaps and development priorities. It is a structured indicator of readiness for a chosen target role, scored out of 1000 — not an absolute measure of a person's ability.
Readiness always means readiness for a role
The same student can be well prepared for one role and far from another. A strong programmer may score well for Software Engineer, moderately for Data Analyst and lower for Sales Executive or HR Associate. That is why the score is always shown next to the target role it was calculated for, and why it changes when the target role changes. Past evidence is kept either way.
What the score looks at
The score is built from evidence available in Airaw that the student has authorised, compared with what the target role requires. This can include:
- Skills, and the evidence behind them.
- Projects, especially reviewed projects.
- Assessment results.
- Development evidence such as verified certifications and completed practical work.
- Communication readiness from communication checks.
- Role-specific requirements such as education and qualifications.
- Other readiness factors configured for the role.
Evidence, not effort
Starting a course or ticking off a task does not add points on its own. The score moves when a student produces proof the role asks for — a passed assessment, a reviewed project, a scored communication check or a verified certificate. Each change is explained, for example "your project was reviewed". Effort still shows in journey progress, tracked separately from the score.
What we do not publish
Airaw explains the method conceptually. The exact weights, scoring rules and safeguards against gaming the score are not published, so that the score stays meaningful for students, campuses and employers.
